Collaboration with the Friends of Friendless Churches

The Autumn 2005 Newsletter of the Ancient Monuments Society, in association with The Friends of Friendless Churches, has strongly endorsed our research project, Imaging the Bible in Wales, and the Society (of which Dr Morgan-Guy is a Fellow) has offered to act as a conduit for thoughts and information. We are grateful to the Society, and in particular to its Secretary, Matthew Saunders, for their support for the project.

The Friends of Friendless Churches acts as custodian of a number of now redundant churches in Wales, some of the artwork in which will feature in the project – for example, Henry Wilson’s work at St Mark’s, Brithdir, is imaged on the front cover of the Newsletter.

We are delighted to have the opportunity of working with the Society.
